Hello again,
Let’s talk about AI — because everyone is.
Artificial Intelligence is changing cybersecurity in both wonderful and terrifying ways. Over the past year, I’ve seen both sides of it in my client work:
✅ AI-powered defense tools are getting better at detecting threats early. We’re seeing faster incident response, better pattern recognition, and more intelligent monitoring than ever before.
❌ But attackers are using AI too — to write highly convincing phishing emails, clone voices for social engineering calls, and even generate deepfake video messages that appear shockingly real.
The line between legitimate communication and deception is getting blurrier.
My advice to you right now:
1️⃣ Assume any message, email, or phone call could be fake.
2️⃣ Always verify requests for sensitive information — especially urgent or emotional appeals.
3️⃣ Talk to your team regularly about evolving threats. The bad guys are constantly innovating. So must we.
Cybersecurity has always been a moving target. AI just made that target a little faster.
But don’t let that intimidate you.
The fundamentals still apply: skepticism, verification, layered protection.
We are still in control — if we stay proactive.
You’ve got this.
